Speed ratings for tires are set in kilometers per hour, not miles per hour. This is why, when we see a mile per hour figure, it will look unusual. For example, they can read like – Q: 99 mph, R: 106 mph, and T: 118 mph rather than the typical intervals we usually see on road signs for speed limits.
